As the lead designer, I worked continuously on various projects for Tapout Fitness such as social media, Facebook ads, landing pages, and emails.

The company describes itself as:

Tapout Fitness combines the Martial Arts philosophy of discipline, determination and respect, with the energy of cardio, weight training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). This fusion fully integrates the mind and body delivering a transformative fitness experience.

Social Media

I collaborated with the social media content manager and social media specialist to create social media content for the Tapout Fitness studios that were signed up with the digital marketing program, LocalLight. We constantly pitched around ideas and it was my job to make these ideas a reality.  Most of the social media content was created to be used as templates for easy customization but others were completely new each month. These images were published on Facebook and Instagram and were created using Adobe Photoshop. Additional videos were made, under my direction and supervision, by our freelance graphic designer for time constraints.

Landing Pages

The landing pages generate leads for the individual gym. My expertise was needed for more important projects at the time, so I taught our freelance graphic designer how to use Unbounce, the landing page builder, for time constraints. He successfully created the landing pages to go along with the Facebook ads that would link to them. He designed a template to use for all of our client's locations. I also told him the landing pages needed to be optimized for mobile sites because most people access Facebook on their phones. They needed to be in sync with Tapout Fitness corporate so it created legitimacy and trust from the prospective client to give their information. He built the main landing page, it's corresponding confirmation page, the referral page, and its corresponding confirmation page. I made design revisions as necessary.

Emails

I also instructed the freelance graphic designer to design the emails and use the Orangetheory Fitness emails as a reference in order to save time. After the user submits their information on the landing page, they would receive an email. He had to design the emails that would be sent out to all of the leads. The first email would welcome the user, another email would be sent to the people the user referred, and another email would follow-up with the user after a couple of weeks. These emails need to be designed similarly to the landing pages so the user would have familiarity with it. They were designed using Adobe Photoshop.
